Welcome! Pardon us while we’re still setting up…
Real life is about passion…the energy to share your art with the world. North Shore resident Rachel Clayton has two passions...cooking and music - which come together in a uniquely entertaining dinner show called "Rockin' the Kitchen".
"Rockin the Kitchen" is hot, quality original rock combined with a cooking show where Rachel plays both leading roles. The off-beat show is enhanced by her "culinary partner in crime" Tim Hopkins, who Boston Magazine named the "Tastemaker" in their December 2007 Bridal issue. Tim brings wacky comedy and charismatic energy to the show...while their professional kitchen staff keep the food coming to every sold-out audience.
You read that right - the audience is live, in-studio, and eating the meal Rachel, Tim and her team prepare before their eyes.
Passionate about music, Rachel Clayton is a successful regional Rock 'n' Roll artist and songwriter – and a professional chef. Since last March, she's been combining these two passions into one exciting night – where the food and the music are in perfect harmony before a live audience in a unique dinner show. Between courses - and sometimes while preparing a course - Rachel and her band break into song....from their own original music to classic rock and even modern tunes. Tim keeps the audience smiling with a constant flow of humorous comments, and off the cuff reactions.
Their next event is Friday, July 18th at The Hastings House in Beverly Farms. Tickets are just $115 and include dinner, wine and a great evening's entertainment. "The show is phenomenal...I loved every minute of it" said Dacia Rubel, who attended the May 31 show.
More than just dinner and a show, audiences at "Rockin' the kitchen" events are making history. The crew is working to create a pilot TV show which they hope to sell to regional/national TV outlets. So far, there's been significant interest and the team hopes to reach a deal this fall. "As soon as I saw the first show, I knew it was something special" said Steve Franco, Rachel's Co-Producer.
